The Trojan War

My final for Greek Mythology is a mural-like depiction of the Trojan war in Homer's Iliad.

New Orleans & Phantom 309

Here are my favorite projects in Paul Roger's Graphic Design for Entertainment class!

First off is my Phantom 309 layout, based off an old song of the same name. For this project, the main requirement was to depict a motel, diner, and truck with proper lettering and graphics.

And here's the 1950s New Orleans project. If you follow me on Twitter or Tumblr, I've been posting sketches and works in progress for it for the past couple of weeks. Here it is in its completed glory!

Charlotte's Web

Ah, here's an assignment I did for Background Painting class before I started officially working with Sig's story, Morning Train! I was quite pleased on how this painting came out, considering I only had one week to work on it start to finish! :)

Journey

I don't post fan art on my Blogspot, but I am proud enough of these Journey pieces to make an exception! :)

Whoops, I completely neglected to announce it here, but I've created a fancy new website where I'll be cross-posting my arts.

CTNX 2013

Before I forget, here's my portfolio pieces I showcased at this year's CTNX! And also, it's a pretty good update of what I've been doing since my entry in July.

Psst!

It's been a while, eh? Well, here's an update of what I've been working on this term! :)

Bijou Prop Design

Over the summer I had the opportunity to work with grad student director Won Chan Sohn, on the prop design of the Bijou, an artifact and also the title of his film.

Since we had the luxury of time, we went through a lot of passes and revisions before settling on this final design:

A few weeks into the term, I went on set down at the ravine, and saw the crew shooting the scene where they discover the Bijou (the prop) at an archaeological dig.

Chan had a professional jeweler craft it out of bronze and labradorite, so it had a very solid weight to it as I held it in my hand. You can't see it too well in this photo, but at a certain angle, the stone part shines a lovely shade of blue-green.

The Girl With TARDIS Blue Hair

Experimenting with Shaddy Safadi's brushes. They are pretty much awesome to the 999th power, haha! Here's a crossover between the visual novel/anime Higurashi no Naku Koro ni and television series Doctor Who. They both have time travel in them! :)

Cans of Beans

I did some guest art for Cans of Beans, a webcomic by my good friend Tamara Go!

Set design based off of Dude and Carl's dorm room!

Portrait of Dude using some of Shaddy's cool brushes!
